“Fiore”, directed by Claudio Giovannesi, is among the three Italian films to be presented at the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival
Claudio Giovannesi is the very outsider among the Italian directors selected for the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs.
“Fiore” is a love story lived behind the bars of a youth detenction center. In the movie the doubts and feelings of the teenage years pass through a context where any normal communication becomes impossible and socil exclusion seems to take over relations and emotions.
Claudio Giovannesi is also coauthor of the original soundtrack, composed along with Andrea Moscianese.
Giovannesi has alaready showed to have a special grasp on music when it comes to composing his own soundtracks, as it was the case with his praised 2012 movie “Ali ha gli occhi azzurri”,
