Spotlight on Nair

2015 is going to be a great year featuring a new remarkable production and concerts in prestigious locations

In the last years NAIR rose as a mature artist, who can enchat an international audience both as a performer and as a songwriter. Her two previous albums, ‘Sunrise’ and ‘Ithaca’,  show an artist worth of note. The collaborations in Italy and abrod, featuring great musicians and symphon orchestras, confirm her value andoriginality.

And new Nair’s songs are getting born just thanks to a remarkable international collaboration. In order to work on this mew material, Nair was joined by Amsterdam based producers Franck Van Der Hejiden and Michael La Grouw, leading feagures of the iternational rising of the ‘Dutch sound’. Nevertheless the prestigious Wisseloord Studios were chosen as the location for the recordings. Located in the Dutch village of Hilversum the studios have already been home to some of the most recent recording of artists such as Celine Dion, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, U2., Elton John… In this working space, so full of key pages for contemporary rock and pop genres, Nair developed a new sound, even more operatic and powerful, where the melosy of her voice met skilful guitar riffs, rythmic experimentation and epic orchestrations created by F.Van Hejiden and M. La Grouw.

Nair‘s new project will be split in two releases respectively scheduled for 2015, and 2016.

But this is not enough for Nair ‘s 2015, and so she’s about to walk once agin the stage, this time as singer for the production “Sinfonia Italiana”, that is going to debut internationally on June the 27th in the utterly eminent  Reggia di Caserta, preceded only by a showcase on June the 1st at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo.

Eventually Nair is scheduling new concerts both in an intimate solo piano and voice version and in a an amazing one featuring several of the most prestigious Italian orchestras:

CASERTA  27 giugno:    Reggia – Nair with Sinfonia Italiana – Grande Orchestra Reale

SANREMO  16 luglio:     Teatro del Casinò – Nair with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo

SAVONA  17 luglio:        Nair with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo
