Info

"La filastrocca dei nove pianeti" by Vegetable G is a digital EP that contain four songs including three unreleased.
The EP is an introduction to the album "L'almanacco terrestre" published by Ala Bianca in September 2011.
This new project is the first in Italian language for the group.
The band, headed by Giorgio Spada,  don't change the direction: keeps moving on light indie-rock sounds steeped in typical pop tunes.
As the title reveals, the EP represents Vegetable G's entire orbital cycle to arrive at the spherical form of the pop song. In this new release they push themselves, after careful melodic research, into the pop genre. The language spoken is Italian, albeit in a very extravagant version.
The four tracks of this mini-disc collect what will be the atmospheres of the new album.
New generation Italian pop, well played and well arranged.

"La filastrocca dei nove pianeti" is the opening song, a light-hearted, carefree indie-pop piece that gets into your head from the first listen.
"La fine di Meteora" is a more intimate and thoughtful song.
"Le cose che pensano" is a Lucio Battisti cover, revisited in a pop guise and always relevant, as it is timeless, originally a song written by poet Pasquale Panella.
I nostri impulsi terrestri"is an 80s-sounding track in which feelings hang on a thread tied to a star, in an enchanted and surreal atmosphere.
The four tracks have been embellished by the wind arrangements of Enrico Gabrielli, who has become a guarantee.
