"Walkie Talkie" by King Kong & D. Jungle Girls is a single that was released on October 2, 1989, under the Flea Records label. It's part of an all-Italian Eurobeat / Hi-NRG music project that originated in 1987.

This single features the original version of the song plus three different edits. It was produced and arranged by Mauro Farina, Giuliano Crivellente, Florian Fadinger. The recording and mixing took place at the Factory Sound Studio by Laurent G. Newfield, an Italian-French musician, composer, and the founder of the labels Delta and Akyr Music. He was particularly active in the Italo-Disco, Eurobeat, and Hi-NRG scene during the '80s and '90s.

The cover art for this release was designed by Asenauer's, an advertising agency based in Verona that created numerous designs for the music industry from the early '80s to the early '90s.

Several edits of King Kong & D. Jungle Girls' songs, including "Boom Boom Dollar" and "Walkie Talkie," have been featured in the video game Dance Dance Revolution, in the compilation series Dancemania, and in the sub-series Speed of Dancemania.

It's worth noting that while the lyrics of these songs are technically in English, they are often associated with the term "Engrish," a slang term for the imprecise, nonsensical, or grammatically incorrect use of English. Most of the time, these lyrics are misunderstood or appear incomprehensible to native English speakers. This seems to be a common characteristic in King Kong & D.
